Lawyers are warming up to litigation funding

According to Bloomberg Law’s 2021 Litigation Finance Survey, lawyers who have used funding or keen to do so, are seeing it in a more positive light.

The report shows that year on year, lawyers' opinions from across jurisdictions (UK, US and Australia) have improved and also that they are more likely to source funding than they were five years ago.

This is good news for those in the funding market, as despite increasing calls for regulation, there is an ever-growing demand for the litigation funding.

Lawyers who have used or are interested in using litigation finance are forming more positive opinions of its ethics and societal impacts, according to results from Bloomberg Law’s 2021 Litigation Finance Survey.
