This week, legaltech start up Disputed.io, welcomed Lydia Rochelle, as Head of Marketing.

Lydia joins from the law firm Fieldfisher where she was previously Head of Marketing. She has worked in legal PR and marketing for over 10 years and has worked with several firms who specialise in group actions and litigation funding.

Commenting on the news, Founder and Chief Executive Officer Steven Shinn, says:

“We’ve seen excellent growth in the last 13 months, and I’m delighted to welcome Lydia to the team. Her extensive experience in the legal and litigation market really adds another feather to our cap and will help us to reach our ambitious growth plans.

The global legal market is ripe for digital transformation to unlock the value in litigation claims. CaseFunnel, our automated claims solution, has shown that tech plays an important role in unlocking large claims opportunities whether in consumer or corporate group actions. We are now expanding beyond the UK and Australian markets and are developing opportunities in Israel and will be targeting other jurisdictions soon.

We’ve also recently launched our latest platform, FinLegal, the world’s first litigation funding marketplace. It is a ‘free-to-lawyer’ solution that connects those needing litigation funding or ATE insurance with multiple providers. In addition to better access to the market, the solution provides firm leaders invaluable insights on live funding and ATE requests, helping them unlock opportunities, provide quality control and ultimately increase cases and drive fees.”

Lydia adds:

“Having worked in the legal and litigation sector for several years it has been clear to me that there are many opportunities in the space for technology to automate and streamline numerous processes around claims and funding opportunities. I am so pleased to be joining Steve and the team at Disputed.io at such an exciting time and to help them grow the business even further.”
